This 3 to 5 hour long session enables believers to practically apply the principles learned in the Freedom in Christ Small Group Bible Study. The “Steps” help people remove the barriers to intimacy with God and to resolve personal and spiritual conflicts. The “Steps” have been shown to provide significant improvement in overcoming depression, anxiety, fear, anger, tormenting thoughts, addictive behavior, negative habits, and a lack of self-worth. Although the “Steps” are often completed in a one-on-one session, completing the “Steps” in a group setting as part of the Freedom in Christ Small Group Bible Study is also very effective. A complete understanding of the theological basis for the “Steps” is necessary for maximum effectiveness.
