Do you feel like you need help overcoming some issues in your life? It is recommended that you read the books Victory Over The Darkness and The Bondage Breaker by Neil T. Anderson if possible. This may be all that is needed for you to experience your freedom in Christ.
If you believe that you still need help finding freedom, please feel free to contact us by phone or email (click the Contact tab above). If it appears as though Freedom in Christ of Rochester can help, here's what you can expect:
Initial Interview - We will schedule an appointment to meet with you to find out how we can best help you. The Initial Interview usually lasts from 30 to 60 minutes.
Determination - From the information given at the Initial Interview, we will determine the best course of action for you. We will either recommend classes, one-on-one counseling, a Freedom Appointment, or another ministry that is better equipped to help you.
Confidential Personal Inventory - If we believe that a Freedom Appointment will be a benefit to you, we will ask you to take a Confidential Personal Inventory form home and fill it out. When you have completed it, you can return it and schedule your Freedom Appointment.
Freedom Appointment - A Freedom Appointment usually lasts from 2 to 5 hours, depending on several factors. At the Freedom Appointment, a trained Encourager and a Prayer Partner will guide you through The Steps to Freedom in Christ, a form of Discipleship Coounseling. You may bring someone with you to act as a Prayer Partner to the Freedom Appointment.
Followup - Someone will contact you a short time later to followup with you and determine your progress.
"If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:31-32 NKJV).
Please understand that we are not professional counselors. Instead, we are Encouragers in the Christian faith who have found freedom in Jesus Christ and are skilled at Discipleship Counseling, a process of breaking free from bondage.
